Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

At Shalvika Living, we specialize in handcrafted teak wood furniture and decor. Every piece is made with care, inspected thoroughly, and packed securely before dispatch. Our goal is to ensure you receive products that match your expectations in quality and craftsmanship.

However, if any concern arises, we are always available to resolve it in a fair and transparent manner.


1. Our Approach

We believe that:
“Every issue can be resolved through communication.”

Before dispatch, we can share photos or videos of your product, to ensure you are clear about what you will receive.


2. When Returns/Exchange Are Allowed

Returns or exchange are accepted if:

  • The product arrives damaged

  • The product has a manufacturing defect

  • You received a wrong item

In such cases:
You must inform us within 48–72 hours of delivery, along with a complete unboxing video.

We will provide:

  • Replacement

  • Repair/Part Replacement

  • OR Refund (only if replacement is not possible)


3. “I Don’t Like It / Personal Choice” Returns

Design taste and aesthetic preference are personal.
If you do not like the product, we will discuss and try to find the best possible solution.

However:

  • Return shipping charges will be borne by the customer

  • Approval of return for liking issues is at Shalvika Living’s discretion


4. Customized & Made-to-Order Products

  • Custom-made / Made-to-order products cannot be returned or cancelled

  • This includes custom size, finish, polish, engraving, or design modifications


5. How to Raise a Return/Support Request

  1. Record a proper unboxing video while opening the package

  3. Share photos and unboxing video clearly showing the issue

  4. Our team will review and respond within 24–48 hours


6. Return Conditions

Returns will only be accepted if:

  • The product is unused

  • The product is in original packaging

  • There is no damage caused by the customer

Once assembled or used, the product cannot be returned.


7. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are provided only when replacement is not possible

  • Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days

  • Refund will be issued via the original payment method

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable

  • Return pickup charges may apply depending on the case


8. Cancellation Policy

  • Once production has begun, cancellation is not allowed

  • After dispatch, orders cannot be cancelled

  • If a ready product is held due to customer delay, warehouse holding charges may apply


9. Special Note

  • Once a Pooja Mandir (Temple) is used, it cannot be returned due to religious sentiments.
